James Wailani is a Northern California native that has lived in Phoenix the past 10 years. He was a multi-sport athlete that played basketball at the University of Redlands and was a decathlete at Sierra College. He started playing competitive sand volleyball in Chicago and Honolulu.
James currently coaches at Pinnacle High School and has taken on the role of Head Coach for the 14 Green Team at Revolution Volleyball Academy. This is his third year of coaching at RVA, having previously coached development and club at Avalanche Athletics. James brings extensive coaching and training experience for young volleyball athletes as they are just learning the game and helping them make the transition to the club level.
