10 Day Open House & Evaluation Clinics Info
We will be holding Pre-Tryout Evaluation Clinics during the open house period for each age group prior to tryouts.
Per the Arizona Region, the 10 day Open House Periods are as follows:
U10-U14 - Oct. 29th - Nov. 7th
U15-U18 - Nov. 12th - Nov. 21st
Each Evaluation Clinic provides players and families with an opportunity to meet and work with our coaching staff, tour our training facility, and experience RVA training.
Athletes must attend at least 1 eval if they plan on trying out for RVA.
Prepare For Tryouts
Step 1:
Check your athletes age prior to registering for evals/tryouts.
Step 2:
Pre-register for evals/tryouts. Athletes must attend at least 1 eval if they plan on trying out for a team at Revolution Volleyball Academy.
Step 3:
Register for a USAV Membership - You will be taken to the Arizona Region's Website. Please read through their instructions to register. Bring a printed copy of the membership card with you to tryouts.
Step 4:
Print, fill out and bring with you the 2025-2026 Medical Release Form. This form will be collected after tryouts are completed. Forms will be linked here once they are available.
What to Expect the Day of Tryouts
Please arrive 45 minutes early to check-in for tryouts, put gear on, and start warming-up for tryouts in the gym.
After registration, athletes will head to the courts for tryouts. Athletes will run through a series of drills and evaluations for approx. 1.5-2 hrs led by the Revolution staff.
At the conclusion of the tryout process, teams will be selected for the 2025-2026 Season. Those selected will be offered a spot on one of our teams. Commitment to the team will be expected the day of tryouts.
After committing to a spot position on a Revolution team, athletes and their parents will meet with the coaching staff for a short team meeting. Parents will turn in paperwork, sign the financial agreement, size their athlete for uniforms, sign up on the Revolution Registration system and make the commitment fee. This process will take approximately one additional hour. Please plan on a total of 3-4 hours for tryouts.
Team practices will begin after tryouts. Coaches will communicate directly about the start of practices with their respective teams.
