bio

Born and raised in North Carolina, I was introduced to volleyball at the age of 8 years old. I began at the rec level and began playing club in middle school. I played both club and school volleyball from 8th grade to 12th grade. My senior year, I helped lead my team to the school’s first state title game appearance, where we fell just short. I also tried Sand Volleyball during high school, winning the NCHSAA 4A inaugural sand volleyball state championship my senior year of high school.

Throughout college, I played club and intramural at the University of North Carolina- Wilmington and the University of South Carolina- Columbia. I loved the sport too much to let it go, so I got into coaching once I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2017. I started coaching at the Middle School level and then quickly moved into High School coaching where I was the JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant coach for The Epiphany School. I then was asked to take on the JV program and assist the Varsity program at New Bern High School, where we consistently made playoff appearances. In the winter seasons, I coached for Twin Rivers Volleyball Club at the 16s age group and 18s age group.

During this time, I was earning my Masters of Education in School Counseling. I took a job offer out in Arizona the summer of 2023 at Cactus Shadows High School. While there, I served as the Varsity Assistant Coach. During that high school season, I was introduced to Amanda Burbridge and became a coach with Revolution Volleyball Club and I was given the opportunity to Head Coach the 13-3s team, where we finished top 25 in the region.  I am now serving as a School Counselor at Queen Creek High School and I currently serve as the 14-2s Assistant Coach at RVA.
